F.O.C.U.S. — Families Overcoming Challenges with Unified Support — is a Charleston, West Virginia nonprofit partnering with families affected by child welfare involvement, substance use disorders, and trauma. Through compassionate, evidence-based care, we help families build safety, stability, and a path forward.
Therapeutic partnership, not surveillance
Families navigating difficult systems deserve to be heard, respected, and supported. Our Family Preservation and Reunification Program responds to West Virginia’s child welfare crisis with integrated services designed to keep families together whenever it is safe to do so—and to help children return home safely when separation has occurred.
